Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should have graduated with a full-time degree from any recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks for MCA and 50% marks for M.Tech. degree programmes.

• Consistent Record in X Std. and XII Std. is required

• Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.

• Candidates should have completed their final Semester / year exams before the selection interview at VIT University.

• It is compulsory for candidates selected to produce their final year marks statement and Provisional degree certificate before August 15th, failing which, their admission will stand cancelled.

Minimum Eligibility:
BCA and B.Sc. (CS) degree or a Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics as one of the subjects in any one of the semester or year in addition to Mathematics at +2 level.

Admission Procedure:

• Admission to MCA and M.Tech. Programmes is based on VIT Master's Entrance Examination (VITMEE) conducted by VIT in major cities across India.

• Application forms can be purchased at select post offices / or obtained through post.

• Entrance examination conducted in major cities all over India.

• Applications will be available in the designated post offices, On-line, VIT University & Chennai Administrative Office. Cost of the application form Rs. 900/-

• Candidates can obtain the application form in person from the VIT University at Vellore (or) from the Administrative Office, New No. 6, (Old No. W-73), Second Street (Opposite Towers Club), Anna Nagar, Chennai – 600 040 (Phone: 044-42016555, 65480555, Fax: 044-26222555), by handing over a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore.

• Candidates can also obtain the application form through post by sending a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore, with a covering letter addressed to “Admissions Officer”, VIT University, Vellore- 632 014, requesting for the application form and indicating their complete postal address. On receipt of the DD, the application form with the enclosures will be sent by post. The postal charges will be borne by the Institute. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the DD.
