All India Category in Universities’ Departments, Government/Govt.Aided Institutions and Private Unaided Institutions

• The admission against 15% All India Category seats of MCA course shall be made on the basis of inter-se merit obtained in the CETMCA-2005.

• The candidates, who are Haryana Residents, are also entitled to apply for admission against All India Category seats along with state quota.

• The vacant/left over & unfilled seats under All India Category will be converted and merged in State Quota seats and filled up on the basis of inter-se merit of CETMCA- 2005 along with State Quota seats & Management Quota seats surrendered, if any, by the Management of the private unaided minority/non-minority institutions.

The State Government has also authorized the Guru Jambheshwar University to invite applications and hold counseling, on the basis of the Academic merit, for making admission against Kashmiri Migrant seats. Accordingly, interested candidates are advised to apply (counseling only) for Kashmiri Migrant seats.

If a candidate takes admission against one category and later on wants admission against another category, then the admission made earlier would be cancelled and seats so vacated would be offered to the another candidate. The fee would be transferred to the new institutions after necessary deduction.

State Quota, vacant/left over & unfilled seats of All India Category and Management Quota of those private unaided institutes, who surrender the same to the State Agency i.e. Guru Jambheshwar University.

Admission shall be made purely on the basis of rank obtained in CETMCA - 2005, subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions and other terms and conditions as spelt out in the Information Brochure.

• Counseling for admission to MCA course will be held at Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar.

• Counseling Schedule will be notified on 4th or 5th July, 2005 as mentioned under Important Information and will also be displayed on the websites given on the first page. The candidates are advised to verify the schedule at their own. No separate intimation regarding counseling will be sent.

• The candidates are required to present themselves in the Counseling Hall strictly according to the counseling schedule. They will be called for counseling one by one on the basis of rank obtained in CETMCA-2005.

• Any candidate, who fails to turn up for counseling at his / her turn, he / she will be considered for the remaining seats at the time he / she reports for counseling.

• The candidates will have to present to the Admission Committee all the original certificates / documents/ testimonials as mentioned in Appendix C for verification. They are also required to bring two sets of attested copies of all such certificates / documents / testimonials. The Admission Committee will check the eligibility of the candidate. In case, the candidate is found ineligible, his / her candidature will be cancelled.

• When a candidate is found eligible, only then, the Admission Committee will offer all available seats under various applicable categories to the candidate in the Universities’ Departments and affiliated Institutions.

• Then, the candidate will be required to choose a seat ON THE SPOT. Once the seat is chosen by the candidate, he / she will not be allowed to change the seat in any case. Selected candidates will have to deposit all the original certificates with the Admission Committee.

• After that, the Admission Committee will issue an admission slip to the selected candidate. Thereafter, the candidate will be required to deposit his / her fee ON THE SPOT. In case, he / she fails to deposit the required amount of fee, then he / she will forfeit the claim to the seat. The fee can be deposited in the form of demand draft in favour of Registrar, Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar or in the form of Cash.

• After the completion of all formalities, including verification of certificates / documents / testimonials and admission, the original certificates / documents / testimonials will be returned to the candidates. However, the attested copies (two sets of each certificate / document / testimonial) will be retained.

• The decision of the Admission Committee in all matters relating to the admissions shall be final.

• After the completion of counseling for each category, the university will display on its notice board as well as websites mentioned on the first page of the brochure, distribution-wise and category-wise list of candidates selected alongwith vacant/ left over & unfilled seats.
