UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU

The University of Jammu is running three years (six semester) Master's Degree Programme in Computer Applications (MCA). This course is available at four different institues affiliated with Jammu University.

i) PG Department of Computer Science, Univ. of Jammu.

ii) Bhadarwah Campus, University of Jammu.

iii) Govt. Degree College, Rajouri.

iv) Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engg. & Tech. (MBS).

v) Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET).

The admissions to MCA Course is based on the Common Entrance Test which shall be conducted by the University of Jammu through an outside agency.

The MCA curriculam has a strong core covering information technology, business management and mathematics. Out of the six semesters, the last semester is Project work which is to be undertaken by the students in an organisation of good repute for developing software systems. The MCA is a regular course and a student admitted to this course shall not engage in any business or profession or vocation during the tenure of the course.
