UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY

In Government Funded Instutes, the reservation for Uttaranchal candidates will apply as per Uttaranchal Government rules and for other states seats, the reservation will be applicable as per the Central Government rules.

For courses conducted by Universities and Government Engineering Colleges, the intake will be exclusively through UAMCET- 2005 and 85% of the seats will be reserved for the candidates from Uttaranchal. The remaining 15% seats will be available for candidates from other states.

For Self Financed institutes conducting MCA Programme, 50% of the seats will be filled through UAMCET-2005 with candidates from Uttaranchal. The remaining 50% seats will be filled on the basis of merit prepared by these institutes subject to the condition that the candidate has scored a minimum of 50% marks in graduation level. These institutes shall submit the so formed merit list of the selected candidates to the “Coordinator, UAMCET- 2005” latest by 30th September 2005 for review. In the event of any anomaly, “Coordinator, UAMCET-2005” shall refer the matter to the Government of Uttaranchal for any decision thereon.
